Unwell

Has anyone felt so drained and unwell 3 days after the op? I feel so sick with no energy and I’m just sleeping. My chest is so tight and sore which is obviously meant to be but I think it’s making me feel sick.

Is this normal to feel this bad? X

Hey katrina! Totally normal I think, the first 3 days I felt hurrendous, could move or do anything and felt too unwell to eat! Then suddenly I just felt better and the pain went? Today though I’ve had my first day back at work and I’m not feeling great for it, feel lifeless, could fall asleep any second and feel so sick! Think it’s gonna take some time before we’re back to normal. Hang in there! ☺️ Xxx

I was exactly same, i realised the co-codamol were making me sleepy as their the strong ones! Lol and the antiobotics were knocking me sick to the stomache! I stopped both for a day and was fine! Hope you feel better soon Hun xxx

If ur body is telling u to sleep then sleep. Have u got the kids bk ? Your chest is tight coz ur under the muscle I read this can b for 5 days. Mine are tight first thing in the morning I just wanna take the sports bra off lol. Get well soon x

I felt drained and I think everytime I took a cocodomal I was asleep within like 30 minutes lol. I just laid in bed for the first 6days and only went downstairs to sit on the couch for a change of scenery lol. It is normal Hun. Day 4 was the worse for me then things got much better from then onwards xx

Hi girls thanks for the replies!! Iv not taken codiene for 2 days now as I was fine with just paracetamol and Ibuprofen but today has just been awful. Iv slept most of it as Iv felt as though I was going throw up. My nurse mate messaged me back before and said it will be the anti biotics and cos I’m constipated to ?. Iv had an anti sickness pill and it’s starting to work thank god.

@cath, nice to see you back!! I didn’t get the kids back today as Iv felt so bad Iv not moved of the sofa all day. I just want to feel normal again it seems to be taking ages x

I think it’s normal, although this is a cosmetic procedure it’s still major surgery and shouldn’t be taken lightly. I’ve had an uplift too and can barely go for a wee on my own! I’m wiped out. Just try to take it slowly chick and enjoy a few weeks rest. I’ve got a schedule of stuff to do… Starting with 160 episodes of KUWTK ha ha I’ve git 2 kids though so even feeling like crap and being able to flake is lush! ? X

I’m five days PO and feel exactly the same. I too think it’s antibiotics.
Hope you’re feeling better soon. At the moment I just do the feel like doing anything. I’ve got three kids so need to start feeling better asap!

Hi @jennie, Iv been am taking anti sickness pills and I feel loads better after this so I do think it’s the anti biotics. Iv also changed my sports bra to one with out a zip on and it’s so much better. My chest isn’t tight and squashed and I can breath properly.

Iv got 2 children to I’m lucky my mum has been minding them for me so I can recover fully.

Glad ur feeling better kauri am. How long do u have to take ur antibiotics for? I only had mine for 3 days.x as for bras I have fromt and back ones not found one that I’m 100% happy with yet . Mite go and get mesured early for a sports bra as u never no I could b wearing the wrong size. But I think I am wearing the correct one.. I found that one on eBay site and it’s so cheap . X

Hi Cath, Iv got a weeks worth of anti biotics. I’ll be using the ones without a zip on from now the one I have on now is so comfy I can’t believe the difference in tightness on my chest. Di you order the pink one Iv got? Iv got a few in grey aswell x

oh what are these bbe? my m&s zip ups are to tight and I can’t live in my macom lol x

Hi Rachel, there just normal sports bras without the zip I tried one today and the relief has been amazing not more pressure or tightness in my chest and Iv been able to move my arms more x

Iv has to stop taking my anti biotics I threw up last night and the pain in my chest whilst being sick was awful. I feel better today since Iv not had any my last one was yesterday at half past 3 and I just couldn’t move off the sofa the anti sickness pill only worked for an hour and then I felt awful again x

Oh god u must be feeling awful. I’m now thinking I’m glad I had overs. I wanted unders
