Hi, I’m quite new to this whole process and have just been up to the Bristol clinic to have my initial consultation with Fay Williams who was amazing.
During the consultation she spoke to me about the next steps, which I was quite familiar with as I’ve done a lot of research and also have a few friends that have been through MYA.
She mentioned that after my next appointment I would need to see their nurse which I was expecting, but then also said I would have blood taken, which I wasn’t expecting as none of the friends I know who have been from MYA needed this doing.
I have no major illness or injury in my medical history, and neither does any of my family, does anyone know what they will be testing my blood for?
Just a bit anxious as I HATE blood tests, any advice would be appreciated!
