Just wondering about others experiences following this op. I’m 3 days post op and feeling more uncomfortable than ever and my chest is so swollen and hard. Anyone else had this? Thanks, Gemma 🙂 x
Hi Gemma I had the same op on Sunday. I feel the same too! Just keep on top of ur meds. Apparently day 2-3 are the worst so you should start to see some improvement. Have you got strapping on? My strapping was so tight I couldn’t breath, I told the surgeon and he just ripped it open at the top and it releaved loads of the pressure. Xx
Hi. I’ve come off the cocodamol now as it was giving me awful headaches and a rushing noise in my ears, which wasn’t nice. I haven’t got any strapping, just dressings and wearing my macom at all times. Everything’s getting really itchy now and I’m so bloated! The hardness worried me as I had to have a blood clot removed from right breast on Sunday and don’t want that happening again! Sorry for rant ha. Are yours both hard and high on your chest? I had obers so not sure if that makes a difference Xx
I had overs too. They are really high and rock hard although I can only feel some of them cos of the strapping. I’m the same, itchy all over. Are u pleased with urs so far? I’m dreading to see my scars, I don’t even know where my nipples are cos I’m completely covered in strapping! Xx
Hey girls im wondering if either of you could help me i went to my first consultation and because of my weight loss she suggested that id need an uplift and implant, i didn’t think id need one… what was it that decided that you’d need one.. can i add you both? very confused!! xx
Hi Rachel I’ve accepted u Hun. I knew I’d need an uplift cos I’ve had 3 children. With each pregnancy they got worse and worse. If u look at my pics I had no breast tissue left in the top Half of my boob. I knew that if I were just to get an implant to fill the emptiness then if have to have a massive implant and they would only sag again, plus I didn’t want big boobs.
If u don’t think you need an uplift then I’d maybe speak to a few different surgeons to see what they suggest. Xx
I was the same but tissue loss was due to losing 5 stone so there was no question that I needed a lift. What size did you have Vickie? Mine ended up being 410cc. I can’t see the scars either but there is a space in my dressing on each side so I can see my nipples are level at least which I was worried about. One nipple is very sore and one numb, probably because of the haematoma. Is it 2 weeks we get the dressings off? I really want to see my scars too xx
I had 310cc which should make me a D cup. I didn’t want bigger boobs, just what I was before I had children. I will be happy even if I was smaller as long as they were pert. I’d love to be able to buy a size 10 bikini set rather than 10 bottoms and 16 top! Xx
I have to go back in a week to have my strapping off.
I had anchor lift and 345cc overs 11 weeks ago, by 9 days post op i was back to my usual self, no pain killers, could pick my children up as normal, by about 3 weeks post op my implants dropped into the perfect position then even more at 6 weeks and i was really unhappy with them, i love them again now at 11 weeks! Dont get disheartened either whem you dont have the full fake rounded look at the top, its unrealistic with for overs with a lift!
Hi girls, hope you don’t mine the adds, I’m having the same op in just over 2 weeks and like everyone else I’m worrying about the scars. Don’t find many girls on here having the lift and implants so would be nice to get an idea of what to expect 🙂 xxx
Hi Megan I’ve no idea what my scars look like and I really don’t want to see them. But recovery wize it’s not as bad as I expected. It’s more pressure than pain. Xx
Hi girls,
I had uplift and augmentation yesterday…hope you don’t mind me adding you? I had to have an uplift as I had lost weight and my boobs felt very empty and saggy. I had 295cc and was 34B before. I’m not in too much pain at the moment however trying to sleep was difficult last night & I think I’m putting to much strain on them when moving!
Xxx
Hi Vicky added you have u got before pics not sure if I need an uplift does this cost more?? Xx
