Uplift and implant worries

I am 9 days post op from uplift and implants and could do with some advice from other ladies that have had this procedure. I am really struggling with recovery I knew it would be painful but hadn’t prepared for just how painful it would be I am in constant pain and since yesterday noticed my left breast is so much more painful than the right a real burning heavy pain and also an area that is hard under the skin and very painful to touch. My nipples seem completely different and I’m beggining to feel guilt and regret that I have done this to myself I have 3 children youngest 9 months and I’m useless to him right now, can anyone tell me if they have experienced anything similar and will it get better? x

It does get better hun!!! It does take a while though by week 3 I was feel a lot better x

Aww honey big big hugs 🙁 I understand completely what you mean but although 3 weeks seems a life time away Kirsty is right, it gets sooo much better I promise, you’re nearly there..please stay focused on being positive & getting better else you’ll find yourself really low & that definately doesn’t help matters, breathe through it & take it easy but keep moving & you’ll get there as long as you try to block it out & focus on the near future, the children still have their beautiful mummy they’re not missing out so don’t beat yourself up lovely, small steps to a bright (near) future..it sooo worth it 🙂 stay strong & chin up hun xxx

Thanks I was having a really bad day yesterday and felt so low. Had to go to my GP and he thinks I may have a saroma so on my second course of antibiotics but I’m feeling so much better today and I’m starting to remember why I had this done. The pain has improved even in just one day and I feel a bit more like myself. It’s so nice to hear from other people who have had it done too and to know it gets better are u both happy with your results? xx

Aww sorry hun only just saw your reply, bless you, glad you’re feeling better & hope the antibiotics work faster than fast for you! How are your incisions? Yeahh very happy but not completely satisfied if I’m honest, ones got a lot more underboob (the one that had more work) which makes it appear bigger :/ but just hoping its because its settled faster the other will catch up as its still firmer, you ring looked after well hun? Xx

Yeah the antibiotics seem to be working thanks hun feeling so much better already and seeing your pics made me feel even more positive your boobies are great it’s so good to see pics of the healing process of someone who’s had an uplift think I was expecting too much too soon! Hope mine look as good as yours eventually! My incisions seem to be healing well but my nipples don’t seem to be aligned at the moment but just hoping its swelling and they will even out. Will have to add some pics I haven’t taken any yet. My partner had to go back to work today but I managed ok just taking it easy. Thanks for your advice it’s really helped xx
