I had my reduction and uplift on Tuesday 28th with Dr Giannas at London Welbeck Hospital. He is fantastic and agree Niki, so friendly. How are you healing?
Everything in the hospital went smoothly for me. My admission was 11am, I got to the hospital a few minutes early and once I’d filled in my forms they took me straight to my room to get change and then the nurse came in to do some tests. Not long after that I saw the anaesthetist then Dr Giannas came to see and draw on me. I was taking down to theatre before 2pm and out by 4:30. I didn’t feel sick at all when I woke up. I needed the toilet straight away as my bladder felt full so that was great then I asked for toast and hot chocolate. They checked my blood pressure every half hour then came to give me my medication after Dr Giannas came to see me and told me everything went well. He said “I think you’ll really like the results” <3 so I’m excited! I think I was discharged around 7:45pm and my partner was with me so we went back to our hotel in Kensington. I’ve got strapping / tape on mine so I don’t actually know what they look like! But at the moment I’m in a bit of pain, only taken 1 codeine because I don’t want the constipation. I’ve been using paracetamol. There is tightness and I’m sleeping with the V pillow. Hope I don’t feel worse tomorrow. Good luck Rebecca, literally no complaints with Dr Giannas! He’s amazing xx
