How long after the op are you aloud on holiday is it 6 weeks? And after recovery can you move your arms after the first week? X

I’ve got a flight booked a few days before I’m 6wpo it’s not the flying it’s the sun so as long as your scares are covered you are fine if it’s a short haul flight. Longhaul is a different wait time though x

I was told by my surgeon preferably 6 to 8 weeks if possible just to ensure no problems, as not always promised a straight forward recovery! I’m booked in for the 21st April and I go away the 20th June x
