Hi Paige, I’m not completely the same as you but thought I’d message you regardless as it might help… I have always had heavy breast tissue and I lost quite a bit of weight last year therefore I was left with nothing but skin and low hanging tissue.
When I came away from my surgeon consultation I was feeling quite upset and confused as I’d had been told similar, that they would likely drop again and I was being advised strongly against an implant, I was also told that they would be quite a bit smaller. My surgeon made me wait 2 months before seeing her again so I had the chance to seriously consider what I was asking her to do. I honestly felt like she wasnt willing to do my uplift when I walked away but turns out she was just concerned and making me aware of the whole picture.
I had my uplift surgery done earlier this week and couldn’t be happier, they are smaller than before and im aware they will likely drop but nowhere near like they did before. For me it was a simple decision, I hated how low my breasts would sit and that I had so much excess skin to hold up with a bra. If I get a few years of breasts that hold in the right position then it was better than what I already had.
