Uplift with 350cc – Implant isn’t sitting right

I’m 6WPO and recovery has been great, until in the last week or so I have noticed that my implants are sitting very heavily on one side and pulling my breast down and to the side.

It’s making my breast look an odd shape and I have lost all fullness at the top (which I also had before surgery but I wa sunder the impression this would be corrected with an uplift and implant) because my implant is sitting low.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I spoke to my nurse and she was very unhelpful and said I still have a lot of changing to do which I understand but how is my implant going to move considering the position it’s in at the moment!!

Who was your surgeon Rheanna?

Hi Rheanna,

I have spent a LOT of time looking at before and afters as well as recovery stages. If I have learnt anything for my own recovery (my op is on the 22nd) it is to really let them settle and wait a few months. Some of the girls on here have posted pictures at 4,6, 10 weeks and they change shape/position constantly. I would listen to your nurse and if it is still the same after three months, I would push for a revision.

Can anyone who has had surgery weigh in?

Hi @picklepie123 – I’ve spent hours on here looking at everyone’s progress and it’s amazing to see how people change!

My concern is that the implant is at the lowest possible point of my breast and my boobs will only get lower as I still have skin that hasn’t been completely filled!

I saw a different nurse yesterday for my 6 week check up and straight away she was happy to email my surgeon and send him some pictures, I’ve not got an appointment with him for the 19th. Feel a little bit more positive now that they are taking me seriously and hopefully I can get some answers.

I will keep an update on here in case anyone else is in the same siaution xx
