I had my uplift & implants done on Saturday, I actually had them done at spire in Manchester, I was going to mya at first but changed my mind just my own personal preference.

I just wanted to see how long the pain & tightness lasted on my chest, I’m due to get my support bra tomorrow so hope that helps me, I’m still in a bit off pain and taking my meds as as when I should, also still feeling very sick, my op lasted 4 hours so I’m very swollen and bruised.. is this normal ??

Wow Natalie! They look amazing you must be so pleased! I’m booked in with mya at first trust in Preston on July 31st. I’m having uplift and 350cc high profile overs. What size implants did you get? X

I had uplift reduction and 300cc unders on Thursday. I’ve felt so shit up until 5pm tonight. I think betting a bigger sized bra today helped alot as the one i had was making it hard for me to breath and really hurting.
I’m soooo swollen and they change tightness every hour or so. Ive been crying alot today wishing i never got it done and just want to be back to normal lol
I got put to sleep at 12:30 and didn’t wake till 4pm. I also didn’t go with mya I’m with Harley medical.
    They look amazing! Xx

Thanks Christie, aww are you excited?!

I don’t know what size he put in me because he said he would have to choose as it depended on what they was like when he did the uplift first.. I’m so so sore 🙁 xx

Hi hun, I had my uplift & implants last monday, bruising is totally normal! I bruise so easily at the best of times and even taking arnica religiously hadnt helped me lol but still taking it in the hopes it helps it fade quicker. Its a lot that your body goes through during the procedure so only normal that you’re in a lot of pain. Did they give you any robaxin as a muscle relaxant? My surgeon picked out a cotton post op bra from my vast selection aha and I think that has helped too, as its so comfortable over my incisions and not restrictive at all. I got mine from asda front fastening post op bras 2 for £15, I also have a renolife by annette bra which i got from amazon for £25 and then a recova post op bra. all super soft and comfy, which is what you want when its something youre gonna be wearing non stop for the next 6 weeks or so!Just try to sleep and rest as much as you can, which can be tough when you’re in pain but honestly once you get past the first week or so hopefully will be plain sailing for you! Keep us updated hun xx

Hey babe, I’m not sure I don’t think so tbh!! I can’t remember the names off the tablets they gave me but got 4 different types. Which starting to make me feel sick ☹️ I ordered one earlier from Asda too, it’s a front zip one non wired so hopefully it’ll help, I’m like leaning forward and can’t stand up straight whilst holding onto my boobs is that normal too or just me ?? Haha I’m so paranoid I make the slightest move and worries me incase I pull anything, I just can’t get comfy at all ???? Xxx

They should have given you a list for your gp hun of all the dif meds you have and how many days to take them for, check your papers and see if robaxin is on there, if not see if you can get an apt with your gp to get some, honestly amazing. If youre taking co codamol that makes a lot of people feel sick, so day 2 I switched to just regular paracetamol which the nurse said was fine and away went the sicky feeling! (heres me acting like im a pharmacist haha).
Oh god the lean forward!! I feel like im walking around like a hunchback haha apparently sorts itself after week 2, as your body comes used to carrying these two new things around with you on the front haha. Have you tried getting yourself up a few minutes every few hours or so? I did that just to have a wander, go to the garden to get some fresh air and felt so much better after.
Also if you havent got one, a back rest and a ton of pillows, as well as a travel neck pillow are amazing for me getting comfy!! With the travel pillow i just nod off mid convo with someone haha I know its an added expense to the already expensive boobs, but honestly worth every penny, they sell the backrests in argos or on amazon with prime delivery, Keep me updated hun and hopefully you can get comfy soon! xx

I can’t even remember the names I do have the list but just in bed haha, they gave me an antibiotic then some pain killers then codiene & paracetamol…. haha noo it’s good you can help me in bloody useless! Ooo that’s good hen I wondered if everyone else did the hunch back ! ???? Ahh really I will look into getting done to help my comfort! Thanks dollie I will, I just tried messaging you through private but don’t even know what I’m doing on here ???? Xxxxx
