Hi,
I have had my first consultation for an uplift with implant, i will be meeting with the surgeon next week. Just wondered if anyone could let me know about their own experiences having this procedure. Any information, tips, photos would be great. I’m currently a 34B, lost 3 stone so they are very empty now and sit very low down. I would like to go up to a 34DD, natural look.
Thanks,
Amy x
Anyone?!
Hi, had full uplift and implants in August. My main advice would be – Don’t be in too much of a hurry to get back to your normal life. It’s a big op and you need plenty of recovery time 😀
Good luck X
Hi Amy, I second that, I’m almost 3 weeks post op after uplift with implants, I went back to work after 12 days but it was probably too soon, I feel exhausted, am nowhere near fully healed, still have steri strips on ny scars and haven’t had a proper shower or bath since my op, its quite depressing! I’ve accepted your friend request so you can have a look at my pics. I’m just hoping its all worth it in the end lol! When are you hoping to have your op? Which surgeon? X
Hi, I am considering this also, had a consultation at transform and the surgeon said id need an uplift however I’m wondering if i can get away without. I’d only be able to take two weeks off work and i’m on my own with two children so the recovery is what is holding me back. Is the pain awful? I am also concerned about the teddy bear scars? I have tried to research pictures but theres not many on google images of uplifts.
Good luck with it all! 🙂
Hi all.
I didn’t find the pain at all bad except on the two hour car journey home from hospital – OUCH!
Parts of my scars aren’t great but only due to problems since the op. In the places that weren’t affected by these problems, the scars are actually amazing. Just thin pink lines after 12 weeks and I’m hoping for improvements for quite a while yet. I’m in a very long term relationship but might feel differently if I was dating.
You’ll really need to try and get help with the kids for those two weeks, you’ll be tired and your movement is severely restricted, much more than with implants alone.
Good luck with your ops girls (and @sunash ) happy healing 😀
Add if you want to X
Thanks! I am thinking of telling my mum as I understand that I may not be able to do much for a while. I teach little kids and it’s quite physical so just needed an idea of the recovery time for uplift. Your profile pic is amazing tho – you must be very pleased with the results! I’ve added you.
🙂
Snap Catherine, also teach young children. I was totally terrified that one of them was going to knock me over in the playground or hug me or something. :/

haha! Yes, that is my main worry! You know how they love to hug! :-/ I was considering the six week summer hols but I am going on a family hol to LA to i’m thinking Easter two weeks is my best shot! Sorry to Amy for hijacking your thread 😉 xx
Haha no worries, thanks for all your advice! Will be taking two weeks at least to get better. X
Hi Ladies, I am currently 3 days post op after uplift without implants and i have to say i feel so much better than i thought i would, just very weak and need s proper shower desperately!!! Lol.
