Vaser is AMAZING!!!

To those thinking about having vaser – i wod really recommend it, especially in waist/tummy area. I’m 14days post op and I’m already so so happy with the results! And I know I have more swelling to go down etc before final results.

I also had my upper arms done and although I can tell the difference, the results aren’t as “wow” as tummy (which surgeon fully warned me would be the case due to the shape and type of skin on my arms).

But the WOW area for me was the tummy – I was a size 10-12 waist (I’d say size 11 if it existed as 12s bit big but 10s very tight and depending on the brand couldn’t get them done up haha!) I was also fit and I do work hard on my tummy when I have time and was a runner, so I guess I just had a little covering of fat to remove!

The worst part is the garment you have to wear – if you have waist area. It’s a huge cumbersome foam vest and it’s very hard to hide it under clothes!!! Depending on what your job is /what you have to wear for work etc is recommend buying clothes MUCH larger – my size 14 clothes I got for it are still tight over and noticeable!!! So like get 3 sizes bigger lol!!!

After 4weeks I get to take the best bit off, the other part of the garment isn’t as bad, just like spanks really.

Hi Emma. Your post was interesting. I am thinking of having a similar procedure. Are you allowed/happy to say how much the procedure cost? Also, I have a job which is very simple. Can work from home or from my office desk. Is it essential to rest?

I wouldn’t like to say on cost because I got it for a better price as was already having a BA, and so had in under general anaesthetic at the same time! And I know this was the only was I personally could have afforded vaser, as I was already paying a lot for a re augmentation and removal of a previous capsular contraction in one breast! Best to speak to a mya moderator about a rough cost!

As for recovery, again I was recovering from 2 operations at once so may be different but I found the first few daysI couldn’t do anything much for myself. After about day 4 I could get about during the daytimes, but the uncomfortably right garment y have to wear made sleeping almost impossible so I got little more than 2-3hrs for the first 13 nights! Last night was first time I got 6+ hrs! So uve had no energy down to that. As for working from home, if you only had vaser Id guess you could easily be working from home if it’s a sitting down job after day 4. It’s worry knowing that MLD massages are a useful part of recovery too, better results and speeds up recovery as reduces swelling and bruising.

Id you have the luxury to, take atleast a week off work! Or atleast get it done on a Friday so you have weekend plus 2-3 work days off!!

The results are definately worth it!! And the pain is not bad it’s only the garment which causes pain and uncomfort! X

It is WOW indeed! I will do it, but buying a house now. And I promised my husband he can have it done first, he’s fit but just the tummy and double chin won’t go. I said it’s only fair as I had TT and BA last year.

🙂 this is 1 month post op today, tried on my running gear. So happy I could cry haha!! Can’t wait to be healed and able to get back to exercising.. And maybe finally I’ll have abs!!!! 🙂

Hi Emma.

I’ve been looking into vaser on my lower stomach as like you, i just cant seem to shift it in the gym and eating better.
Did u just have lower stomach done ? Or upper/ flanks aswell?

Defo go for it – I think the smaller the amount you need to remove the better the results! Xx

Can you remember how much fat was taken out?
I was told from lower abs i would need about 800ml removed?
I dont have really tight skin there either as ive had kids and i have some old faded stretch marks there. So i am abit concerned about it looking saggy. But the mr marcenello said hopefully it wouldn’t look too bad, but it is a slight risk. Xx

Yeh im the same about my weight. The scales dont bother me really.

And you’re right about the diet & exercise too.

Thats similar to what i was told. He said i was a good candidate and wasn’t trying to get me to have more areas than i needed, which i thought was genuine. He said i could maybe have a little off my flanks if i wanted to, but i said i wasn’t bothered about that area. He agreed.
I feel slightly guilty in a way about wanting more surgery! As i thought I’d just have my boobs done & not be interested in anything else.
But my lower stomach really does get to me lately. Im always moaning about it!
I wouldn’t have it done just yet anyway as I’d save half the cost first.

Hahahahahahaaaa you should have got them done together hun!! That’s what I did, as no way I would have done local as I’m soooo scared of stuff like needles and soooo squeamish. ( never understood why people could hold a bottle of their removed fat and smile.. URrrrgghh makes me feel nauseous!). Plus I got it for a better rate having it done together.

But as your not having lots of areas (I don’t think u need ur flanks tbh looking st ur pic?) it won’t cost too much hopefully!

It’s a lot of money but SO worth it you will be so Happy. Xxxx

Though I’d post a Few more photos now I’m officially out of my garments!!! I’m just under 2 months post op now.

Sports pics taken in morning and underwear pics at night.. So as you can see swelling mostly stopped now in eve. Just a fe hard lumps/lines still at mo which hoping will go with time and massaging! Scars are still very obvious and pink and a sort of cross shape which I didn’t expect! Hoping will fade with time!!!

Not allowed to talk prices on the forum Hun, sorry. I had a BA removal and replace, a capsulectomy and vaser all in one op though so I got the vaser for a better price than it would cost to have it seperately (as no additional costs for aneathetist/aftercare etc. Best to go in for a free meeting with a patient coordinator and they can tell you if your suitable and if you are how much it would cost (as also I think costs are done on amount to be removed etc) xx

Hi your results look really good. I’m thinking of having the similar treatment done with vaser on the tummy area I can’t decide! The garment you wear is that really uncomfortable. Also are you able to walk around with ease few days after the op.thanks

Amazing results! Where did you get the white zip up sports bra from? I had a BA last week and have been looking for a more comfortable bra than my macoms but I can’t find one that fits snug enough but is comfortable! Xx

It’s from La Isla on amazon. But I found it not as confy as the La isla black front zip up one, it’s tighter and more comfortable material. But both are nice x

White is pretty true to size black runs small (which I found more supportive!) I bought both in 34DD and 3months on I’m actually measuring a 34D -34DD (buying 34D)

Thank you! I think I actually bought the white one myself but when it arrived the zip was broken and it was too tight anyway. Will have a look at getting the black one instead! Is it the band or cup size that comes up small? X

Id say both – I am a 34D and it was perfect for me in a 34DD. X

Just wondering ladies…did you have to wear the 4D vest 24 hours a day for the first 4 weeks? Or is it 24 hours for the first 2 weeks, then 12 hours for the next 2 weeks and then just the macom garment for another 2 weeks? I’ve just had vaser and it hasn’t yet been made clear to me!

24hrs a day for 4weeks Hun I’m afraid! Well 23, I had it off about 30-60mins a day for massages, washing etc. X

Im having Vaser liposuction on my stomach area and flanks in 2 weeks and am a little worried I won’t achieve my end result. I had a look at your before and after pics, you look amazing, i can see that your waistline is more cinched in. Did you show your doctor what you would like to look like?

I did ask in my consultation with with my surgeon how much will he remove, he said 3 litres, but not much else was said. I kind of wish i showed him pictures of the results i would like to have.
All pictures I’ve seen from other surgeons at MYA have been great however not all patients have been given much of a curvy waistline. I’m not saying i want to look like Kim Kardashian, but i would like to feel womanly as I have quite a curvy bottom half, so would like the top to flow in shape.

I would much appreciate your advice and tips. I will be sharing before and after photos once all complete.

Hiya, nope I didn’t show any photos. I was really pleasantly surprised with my waist results, but I already went in a little bit so when extra fat removed it really excentuated that aspect!

hi hun i have had laser on flanks and bottom stomach and bA With Mia like you thinking of going back for arms back and top of stomach you aid your arms look strange are you more happy with them now though ? as i just want a slim top have bigger bottom half 🙂
