    Hiya

Having Vaser on my bingo wings, thighs and knees scheduled for 7th Aug. Have a few questions:
    1) how long after the opp can I start exercising again- weights and High Intensity stuff?
    2) I have a sitting down job, will I b in a lot of pain post opp if im sitting down all the time?
    3) how long does it take to fully recover?
    4) whats the operation like? The thought of being awake while its done is freaking me out

    Hi beany,
I had it on my hips (flanks)
1, I went back to wait training after 3weeks but squating wasnt comfortable, I couldnt run till 6 weeks as it felt like burning under the skin (could tell wasnt healled inside) but it actually made me more determined after.
2, I had op on Friday went back on Monday garment was a pain when sitting for a long time so I had to get up and walk around now and again but everyone knew I had it done so they were fine,
3, depends what you mean by fully recover?
4, I had hardly any sedation (i wanted to be able to talk) most girls fall asleep and cant remeber a thing. You are aware someone is moving but it isnt painful just uncomfortable as you know your lying there preatty much naked lol. but its 100% worth it.

    Hi Beany,
So I came across your post and it looks like we are both booked in to have our procedure on the same day.. Eeeek!
I’m getting Vaser on my knees, inner and outer thighs and you asked a lot of the questions going through my mind, so thanks.
Has anyone got any advice as to how to make the healing process as quickly as possible, I booked off work the Thursday and Friday and back in on Monday but now I am doubting I will be ok to go in after reading so many reviews.
Also Lymphatic Massage, is this advised to get done to speed up healing?
I think it’s starting to sink in and I’m just a bag of nerves with a million and 1 questions…
    Thanks in advance xx

Hey Beany, Never are you in Fitzroy as well… I got called this morning and my admission time is 7.30 am! Don’t worry about saggy skin, they say this promotes the skin to retract and if it were a possibility he would tell you that he can’t do it for you!!
Beatriz I’m with Dr Alan Kingdon and I also went back to see him and now included my lower abs as well… I’m just trying to mentally prepare for the whole experience. Yours is at the end of August and believe me it will fly by…!

Im booked in this Sat for my second lot of Vaser with Mr Kazzazi. First time I had my inner & outer thighs and knees done. This week im having flanks and abs done. I cant even remember anything from when I had my first lot done, although apparently I talked the whole way through ha. It was the swelling on my thighs that was the annoying part, but it just meant taking my time when getting up from a chair but fine apart from that x

Hi Beany, I didn’t leave Fitzroy until after 12 I think it was… Glad you’re not in any pain, don’t worry about the skin just yet huni…
I’m finding it really really hard to be honest, the swelling on my knees is really bad i can barely bend them and sleeping, I think since the 07 August I have had about 7 hours sleep in total.. The back aches I’m getting while sleeping is horrible.. They’ve put me in a full Garment and the padding for the torso but I’m literally walking around like a whale.. I don’t get why I have to wear full padding which literally comes up to over my breasts if I’ve only had 2 incisions just under my belly button?!
how you dealing with everything else now? you been back for your post-op appointment?

    Hey anwB

Ive been suffering with huge back problems too. Keep waking up at night with the worst pain. The pain meds don’t help wit but and I usually just knock myself out with co codomol Ive had from elsewhere.

My thighs and knees are really swollen and I walk like a penguin the most part. They are v sore to touch and tender but its not really painfull its just sore…. A weird sort of feeling really. My arms are completely normal though. Sore to touch and sometimes the stitches hurt but its ok.

Im sorry ur in pain. I had my two day post opp appointment which was a complete waste of time as she literally saw me for less than 5 mins, asked me how I was, checked my arms only and said I cld have a wash now as home. I travelled and hour and a half in a car for a less then 5 min appointment with a nurse!!!

Im due back to wrk on wed and kinda dreading it as i know im gona swell a lot and thats when it gets a little painful.

    Steph and Jane,

Im contemplating a second opp combining vaser on my stomach and back with a BA. They’ve told me Mr kazzazi will do this for me. I had Dr alan kingdon for my first opp and found him lovely.

I know having the stomach area plus BA is probably gona mean im gona be in the worst pain ever so Im putting it off untill im actually healed from this one and im happy with the results. So far im too swollen to tell if im happy with the results.

Let me know what Mr kazzazi is like 🙂

Hi jenny, I felt the same when I read all the negatives, but everyone’s experience is going to be different. I’ve read peoples comments who’ve had trouble with their BAs too, but I had a fantastic experience with mine! We’ve got to stay positive and just follow all the after are advice we re given. The way I look at it is it’s def going to make an improvement when they are taking all that fat away from stubborn areas! Good luck with yours, I’m getting mine done on Sunday. Let us know how u get on x

I had vaser on my arms and stomach. I have not been on any pain killers since thurs (when i had the op). I had quite a bit of leaking from my arms but barely any from my stomach. My bad back is also easing off and when i changed the body suit, i didn’t have much bruising on my arms either, although they feel like they do lol. I haven’t braved to look at my stomach yet. Post op tomorrow so will hopefully see then and get the go ahead for a shower.,.. i don’t like being a weird shade of yellow lol!!!

Hi steph and jenny glad you are all done!and doing well! I’m just home now from my op! Surgery was fine but fainted in recovery room! Finding the vest under my garment really uncomfortable! They had to cut my garment cz couldn’t fit my boobs in! Haha. Kath hope you got on ok! Beany, if it makes you feel better, the only needle on the day that you know anything about is when they put the canular in. Hope you can still go ahead with your surgery! The staff at Doncaster have been wonderful, couldn’t have done more for me. Even got a kiss off the nurse on my way out! Xx

Hi Jane – yes all seems to have gone well. Tried to sleep but just had a banging headache – feel really dehydrated. When can we take these socks off? Doncaster were fantastic today like you say, from the moment you walked in. Very impressed. Just hope everything goes ok the next couple of days. My right thigh oozed abit but not my left and all seems to have stopped now. Speak tomorrow.xxx

Water with a slice of lemon is supposed to be good post op. Loved the natural look clinic it was so homely and the staff were so lovely! Keep in touch, would love to hear your progress. I’ve got my post op tomorrow xxx

I took my socks of straight away also lol. Im quite sore when I get up from a chair, feels like my c-section all over again, ripping sensation but never mind. Dont know whether its this 4d suit that pressing down on bruising and making it hurt, going to take it off tonight and shower and see if I can adjust it x
