Ah bless that sounds awful! Is it a recent c section scar? I’m all black there so I phoned the nurse but she said it’s totally normal as all the pressure goes to that area. I’m gonna see if the nurse can cut out the back of my vest today as it’s so high it looks like a hunch back under my clothes x

I had it done just over a year ago. I had to wait until the twins were a year. I need to dress the wound and they will have a look tomorrow. Lol yeah I know what you mean about the hunch im wearing my husbands hoodies! As nothing will fit over it properly xx

Hi Jane – how did your post op go? I have mine tomorrow. I feel so swollen today. My legs feel double the size and feel like I have put weight on. Feeling abit deflated as can’t see any visible results. I guess I will have to give it time. How are you getting on?xx

Hi Kath I’m over the moon after having my post op! Was feeling really low this morning and in pain, but my results are already amazing! It’s like a different body!! The nurse even took photos she was really impressed. Makes all the discomfort worth it.remember that you see 85% of results at 6-8 weeks once the swelling is down.this is the biggest we will be as it’s such early days, we are bound to be very swollen after what our bodies have been through. Keep drinking plenty water with a slice of lemon! Good luck for tomorrow Hun xxx

My clinic is the newcastle one, so I saw Becky the nurse there. My back is killing today. Think it’s my posture with having this vest on. I’m surviving on minimal sleep. Feeling yuk xx

Me too, me too. I only had my outer thighs done so my hat goes off to you for having several areas done as this is bad enough. I just feel so sick too. Anyway it is nice in a way to be going through it with someone. Hope it gets better. Were you given cocodamol? I was only given paracetamol and iberprofen..xxx

Yeah it’s nice to speak to you and steph as we are going through it together! Didn’t get cocodamol, haven’t had any as I know it makes some people sick. I’m feeling sick too, but haven’t really been eating as the vest and garment are tight! At least it will be doing wonders for my diet lol! You could ask about extra painkillers at your post op? Xx

My legs were really swollen but it helps if you keep them up and resting but I think my stomach has been the worst for swelling cant walk lol. All was fine at my check up, wasn’t my csection scar it was the vest rubbing against my skin and just a sore :). Aww I had Becky to in Newcastle Jane, she is lovely gave me extra dressings o make sure my sore didnt become infected. When I took my vest off my god he has took so much away 🙂 can see a difference already even though still really swollen. My back hurts on a night and I still have some pain but its mainly my lower ab region xx

Hi steph, yeah Becky was so lovely, I can’t believe how flat my stomach is and she was so genuinely happy for me! My backs so sore, think its my posture in this vest, it’s worst in the mornings after lying in bed. Having to religiously keep on top of pain relief. So glad you can see results already Hun, it makes it all worth it! I’m still in quite a lot of pain, I would say it’s more abdomen than flanks, hope I’m not being soft as everyone else seems to be ok but me!! Lol xxx

No my abdomen hurts also and yes my back is the same once I get up, have to stand for a while until it passes. Im dizzy from taking all the meds lol. When I take the vest of though I can feel my sides ache. Ive opened the bottom of my vest for a little bit just to try and ease the swelling lol. Back on Tuesday so hopefully my sore will be all healed by then. Cant fault the nursing care etc they have all been fab :). Cant wait for the swelling to go down and to get the tight dresses out yeyy! He took nearly 2litres out of me, dont think I have any fat left in me hehe xx

I’m exactly the same, I had 2 litres removed and I’ve been dreaming about trying my dresses on and choosing new ones online! Yeah I’m dizzy too. Becky said I cud unfasten mine at the bottom too for the same reason!! The joys!!! I agree everybody has been fabulous at mya, fab experience xxx
