hello!
I had Vaser with Dr Kingdon 2 days ago on 9th June and just wanted to share my story.
I got upper and lower abdomen and flanks done – he removed 1.7 litres of fat.
My admission time was at 9am – shortly after a lovely nurse brought me up to my room which I shared with a lovely lady who had the same procedure as me! She was in theatre at the time though so I didn’t meet her until I came round.
So I just changed into my gown, did the pregnancy test and tried to chill out a bit (I went by myself)
The anesthetistist came up to see me , and Dr Kingdon came and had a chat and drew some lines on me.
I went down to theatre at about 11.15- the people who out me to sleep were lovely – so chatty and made me very relaxed. I don’t remember a thing!
I came round at about 2.30 in my room. I felt fine except the 4d garment comes in just one size, I’m 5″2 so it’s quite long for my torso and cos I have Brast implants it’s really quite uncomfortable.
The nurse cut it down for me a bit before I went home but it’s still too high!
My friend came to meet me and we were on our way home by 5.30! All very easy!
Since I’ve been at home I’ve been trying to move around a little and not be too much of a slug, but it’s so uncomfortable in this 4d vest!
I have my first post op appointment at 11am today and then hopefully I’ll be able to get them to cut the vest down more and I can get a peek at the results!
I’ve attached some photos to my profile so feel free to have a look and get in touch if you wanted to share or ask! I plan to upload my results pics 🙂

Ok so I had my appointment with the nurse to check my incisions – I was so close to passing out and being sick! I felt dreadful but got though it with the nurse who was amazing.
I have mega pubic swelling – again apparently normal.
The bruising from the garment is quite bad but hopefully will go down. I was weighed and measured and I weight 2kg more than before and my waist is bigger!! Sure this is just swelling but a little disheartening!
I went home and had a shower which was ok but it took me 45 mins to get dressed into the garments again by myself.. I don’t feel like I’ve got the 4d vest on tight enough but Im seeing the nurse again on Monday so hopefully it’ll be ok 😖.
I’ve uploaded some pictures if anyone is curious 🙂
Hi,
I had my Vaser on the 4tH June so a week ago today. My procedure sounds very similar to yours, although I didn’t have any of the seepage that you did from looking at your photos. I do have the pubic swelling though – although this is starting to go down now. Got my next appointment with the nurse tomorrow. I wasn’t weighed or measured on my 48 hour appointment – I did measure myself when I got home and I was bigger – today I am the same size as before the surgery. – just one question – on your pics you are wearing the garment under the vest – I have mine the other way round as that was the way it was put on me ??
Hey Alison! How are you feeling now?
When I came out of theatre the vest was on under my garment, but when I went to see the nurse today she put the garment back on me first.. Another nurse came in and said I should put the vest back on underneath after my shower but try as I might, it just wouldn’t come anywhere near to closing. You’ve got it right it’s me who’s wrong!
I was so desperate up I just decided to do what i could today and try again tomorrow.. I hope it’s ok but i didn’t really have an option 😖

Hiya,
I’m feeling good – I have no pain from the surgery – I stopped taking painkillers the day after as i just didn’t need them. My back is killing me from this vest though,
I really struggle getting my garment over the top of my vest – I think I’m gonna break it – but I just use brute force to get it done up – one little hook at a time. I got the new one out of the packet yesterday and it was even worse getting that one on as it hadn’t stretched at all and it feels rally tight now !!!
Oh you are stronger then me! I honestly can’t get the garment over the vest, I feel like such a weakling. I’m not sure if I should worry about it or not..?!
‘I’ve just put before and 11 day post op pics up on my profile if anyone wants a look x
Hi Baily,
Thanks so much for sharing your in such detail. I’ve got vaser (lower abdomen & inner thighs) booked in with Dr Joffily on August 14th. I’ve also got my pre-op appointment with the nurse on July 18th.
You’ve already answered a few of the Qs that I had. Please keep me (and all the other readers) updated on how you’re doing!
