So first stage was my consultation with my patient coordinator (PC) Natalie from chelmsford. All went ok and went well. Approaved for the finance and decided to go ahead. Then made the trip to London to meet dr joffily, was in and out very quickly and confirmed he was happy to proceed. Then had my pre op with the nurse Jess at Chelmsford. Had a couple of problems but they all got resolved thankfully.
    Then my surgery happened.

I’ve always lacked a lot of confidence and picked faults with myself, my stomach thighs and hips so i decided this would be a good option to help with my confidence within myself.

The day of the surgery I was so nervous. My boyfriend took me in his 4×4 car big mistake!!! He couldn’t fit in any of the car parks at all so had to park on the roads for 2 hours, pay then move it again. So do not take big cars people!

The nurse who greeted me was so lovely and immediately I felt so reassured. I was taken up to my room and was sharing with another girl who was having exactly the same procedure which was nice and reassuring. I was the first one in luckily, dr joffily drew on me and I had a urine test done, blood pressure etc. All went
Ok and was taken into theatre at roughly 9:00am and I arrived at 7:30am.

The worst part for me was having the Canula in my hand because I hate needles, but then within a second i was out and the next minute I woke up in recovery. All was fine and they fitted me in my garment. I was then taken back to my room.

I reacted badly to tramadol it was me dizzy and hot so I stayed off them and just stuck to the codeine and paracetamol. Initially I felt barely any pain but as the morphine wore off it started to kick in.

The vest is very restricting and uncomfortable and the temptation to take It off is unreal. My surgery was Friday and my post op is on Tuesday and I have a drain fitted so it’s super uncomfortable. The drain you can’t even see its under the vest but I can feel liquid moving around.

So annoying I can’t see any results until Tuesday when I can finally take my garment off because I’m not aloud to remove it until then 🙁 so I’m extremely smelly as I haven’t been able to shower at all and have been told not too.

First night sleep I was up every 2-4 hours needing painkillers and it was so uncomfortable to sleep. The first day was tough could barely stand / move or do anything. But as the days have gone on its gotten easier and easier. I’m on the 3rd day now and I’m moving about a lot more and taking less painkillers. I’ve had hardly any leakage either Which is good.

I’ll post pics as soon as I have the vest off as right now I’ve not got a clue what I look like underneath!!!

I was a larger size 10 before, weighed around 70kg and about 5.5ft in height. So reasonably petite. I just needed my flanks upper lower stomach and thighs doing as they were stubborn areas I couldn’t fix and massively affected my confidence.

    Happy to answer any questions!

I had my 2nd post op today, nurse finally took off the dressing and trimmed the stitches 😛

The waist is from Day 1/ 82cm – Day 8/ 76cm around belly button today, and I was so happy and telling the nurse, she said it wasn’t even there yet, because it is still very swollen 😛
