Very shiny skin after rhinoplasty, why?

After having had surgery last week my whole face is very shiny!! I’ve cleansed around the nose and still nothing, it’s not even grease it just so shiny that my family said I am literally glowing?! Did anybody else have this and how do I get rid if it? Not to mention, why is it so shiny now?

I know what you mean I still have this but only on my nose it was never oily before I think it’s just because the skin has been traumatised inside or out hopefully it will become less oily as the months go by x

I was told its because its all been disturbed and your skin over produces oil etc because of this. Mine was horrendous and has started to settle more now, it will change over time don’t worry about it and maybe invest in a good powder in the meantime x x
