Very worried about incisions.. helppp

Hi girls. I’ve an uplift and implants and I’m 18 days post op. I’ve been to see the nurse and she took all my dressings off but said my left breast hadn’t healed as well as my right one so she was leaving some dressing over it, but gave me spares in case they got wet in the shower so I could change them myself.. (she said I can start showering but try and keep my left breast as dry as possible) .. I’ve just tried to remove the plaster but had to stop as I noticed my skin was pealing off with it!!! An actual flap of skin. I am so worried, should I just cover it up and wait until I’m back at MYA on Tuesday or should I do something asap?? xxxxx

I personally would contact the doctor..maybe up a and e n get it checked..I havent had surgery ye but thats just what id say defo.my friend had a slight prob and wasnt even to do with her boobs but she explained shed just had them done to the hosp and they took all her strapping off n changed all her dressings ect..probs a good idea to they can sort u out proper then xxx

I would be to..im a worrier as it is..dnt stress tho its fine n ul get it sorted maybe tE hosp may have to add some stitcEs or something xxx

hun ring your nurse asap she will see u to sort u out ring the 24 hour number they gave u she would pref to treat u as they specialise in plastic surgery n ba … my right insision came open only a little bit but my nurse was fab .. mine nitted back together itself was all heeled after 3 days n dresssings off but I was worried sick aswell although yours sounds worse so defo get some advice asap hun … n take it easy x x x

Uplifts take a lil longer to heal. I am 7 weeks post op & I was still having to have my right scar covered as it was rubbing so wouldn’t heal. Call the nurse & they maybe able to move ur appointment. Good luck xxx
