So it’s 03:58. I’ve been awake since 04:20 yesterday. I think I’ve had an hours sleep all night and I’m wide awake. Strange and annoying.

So if I had my op at 8am yesterday is today my day 2??

Anyway I’m going crazy already staying in the house. Do you reckon I’ll be ok to slow walk to the park to feed the ducks and get ice cream tomorrow?
    It’s only 10-15 minutes away.
Heard walking is good for healing. Xx

I was told to move about as much as I felt comfortable with. So if you feel up to it then go for it. Chances are you’ll feel exhausted afterwards and get a decent amount of sleep. I went out for lunch 5 days post op and it really tired me out, slept for hours when I got home xo

Didn’t end up going to the park, had McDonald’s breakfast instead and went straight to asda. Feel so much better when I’m walking around. Pretty amazed at how quick I’m getting up and about.

    @katiecx
My chest is really tight when I’m laid in one position for a long time. I had to walk around my room last night to eleviate the strange achey feeling.
I managed 2 hours sleep last night, was wide awake all night and I still am now. Apparently it’s a side effect of the anaesthetic. My backs good but I’m dying to lay on my side to sleep but know I cant.
I felt like I was missing a breath last night but things are ok now. So I know how you feel.
They seem to be more on the side of me but today the middle has filled out a little.
Sometimes I overexert myself and stretch too far and remember that it hurts. Lol.
That really sucks how long you were in there for! After I had tea and toast I went to toilet and think standing up “sobered” me up a lot quicker.
Hope you’re keeping on top of your meds, I’m relatively pain free still. Xx

I used to go for little 15 min walks from about 2nd day post op, you just feel so tired afterwards! You’ll definitely feel much better by day 5, hang in there : ) xx

Your so lucky!! I didn’t wake up properly for 2 hours after! ! I had a coffee and toast and some water which my boyfriend practically fed me and I felt loads better after but then when I went for a wee I was sick so they made me eat and have another coffee so they could give me some more codeine.. and then we set off home at about 11:50 . I feel shocking still so my friend has give me a Tramadol which I have taken about an hour ago so hopefully I’ll sleep fingers crossed xx

Wow @katiecx you’re on the strong stuff! Lol.
I wasn’t sick at all so maybe that’s why I’m only on shop standard pain relief. I do have a high pain threshold and a ridiculously high immune system.
Been out at cinema and nandos tonight. Lol.

Manage 4 hours sleep tonight but just woke up for meds.
Do you get sweaty cleavage with this strapping when you wake up? x
