Wash and blow dry after surgery

Hi girls,
I know this question has been asked on here a few times but I can’t seem to find the post :

I’m having my surgery on 18th dec and booked in to have my strapping removed on Xmas eve .. Would it be ok to book in for a wash and blow dry after I have had strapping taken off on Xmas eve? I don’t think I can deal with dirty greasy hair for Christmas 🙁
Also.. How long is the appointment roughly when having strapping taken off? My appointment is 11.30 so want to book at hairdressers soon as I’m sure IT will be busy on Xmas eve..

I had my strapping off today and it took about half an hour, you feel so much freer once it’s off so there’s no reason you can’t have one! Just need to be careful about leaning back, don’t strain too much as you’ll still be fragile.. I would of been able to have a wash and blowers with no problems today but it depends on the individuals recovery xxxx

My op is on the 9th and I`m booked for a hair colour and a cut on the 18th so I better feel good by then…roots will be bigger then ever…hehe. Im sure you will be okay Rebecca xxx

Ahh yaaay ok thanks girls I’ll just make sure my hairdresser is aware of the situation 🙂 happy now woohoo
