Washing bras?

Does anyone know if you should wash your bra you’re taking to surgery before or is it okay if it’s brand new???

I hadn’t planned to wash mine as I bought two different sizes and will send the one that doesn’t fit back 🙂

I’ve washed all mine before, I don’t suppose the infection risk is high at all, but I can be a bit neurotic about germs x
