Weeping incisions?

Hi girls

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced their BA incisions weeping? The right side always looked like it had healed much better than the left but my skin has always been itchy. I haven’t scratched anywhere near the incisions and I haven’t put any creams on them or any bubble bath or anything like that but when I took my sports bra off earlier it was stuck to the left side where the incision had been weeping and sorry sounds gross but it was like a pale yellow colour on my bra. My bra fits perfectly (Macom) and doesn’t rub, comes way down past the incision. Right on the end of the incision there is a small scab. I called the clinic and am booked in for tomorrow so I know I will find out then but am just wondering?

IT sounds like a small scar infection hun, nothing to worry about as you’ve caught it early! Sometimes these things just happen for no real reason no matter how careful you are, esp at this time of year with your immune system having to battle all kinds of colds and bugs and what not! A course of antibiotics and keeping them dressed for a while and you’ll be back to normal in no time. x

Hi Lauren, I had the same thing and went to the clinic this afternoon. The nurse there said it was where I’d knocked my scab and it was irrated by my bra. Is the scab dry and itchy if so it’s a good sign it’s healing. She gave me some plasters but they’re making it more itchy so may stick to the dressings. X she said it was nothing to worry about but worth getting checked if your worried x

I had this and was put on more antibiotics as in my case it led to an infection and inscission filled with puss get it checked asap
