Hi all
Had my breast reaugamentation on Friday x day 2 today feeling a bit better today, however I do feel very fat and bloated! Is this normal after surgery? If so what’s it due to and when can I expect the feeling to go xx
100% normal, it takes a different amount of time for everyone. It’s due to the anesthetic, it makes everything go slow. Its a horrible feeling but try not to worry about it, it will go. And remember, it’s definitely not fat xx
Thank you!! I’m half a stone heavier and that can’t be right just with a few biscuits! Lol x
It’s totally normal. After surgery your body can retain water, plus all the meds causing further retention and constipation. I’ve put on half a stone, and i’m really bloated and puffy (currently 6dpo). I’ve started drinking peppermint tea and taking aqua-ban xxx
I’m drinking green tea so hopefully that will help x just had a bath and took my bra off and my boobs look flat! I specifically bought the macrom bra as I wasn’t sure what the size would be post op x hope I’m not doing them any harm during the healing process by the bra being too tight – do you think this will settle down 🙁
I’ve just asked this too about how tight to have the bra. I’ve got it on the tightest latch, but I’m torn between am I supporting them enough or squishing them?? @pinktwinkletoes
I had my breast augmentation on Friday and I was about to write a post just like this asking the same! I feel absolutely huge and it’s really bringing me down – even baggy joggers feel tight!! Can’t wait to recover and get back to normal haha!
How are you feeling after your op @ba20318? I look about 6 months pregnant!! ???? x
I’m the same!! Like fair enough because of the boobs I look bigger but even joggers and leggings are tight which I can’t get my head around hahaha! I honestly look massive!
Hows your recovery pain wise?
The pain is not too bad keeping on top of it with the pain killers but they knock me out! I’m just in pain as my bra feels so tight, wondering if it should feel like this? X what size did you go for? Xx hopefully the weight gain will pass soon ????
