Weight gain after op?!?!

I’ve barely been eating since my op on Monday and was feeling sickly for the first few days, and the pain I’m in I just lost my appetite.
I’ve noticed my stomach is really swollen I look pregnant! I got weighed and have put on 7lbs since Monday?! I know my implants will weigh something but surely not 3.5lbs each.
Has anyone else experienced this? My whole body is so so bloated ? xx

I’ve heard of the stomach swelling, it’s common, Your implants will weigh upto 2lb but wouldn’t think any more than that. It’s probably the swelling & fluid that’s adding to the weight gain. Hope you’re feeling better xxx

@kimbers Hi Kimberley! Yesterday was such an improvement I hardly had any pain at all and could stand up on my own 🙂 today I’m sore again think I just need to wait for all my tablets to kick in! So much better than I was though ☺️
Yeah I feel like I’m holding a lot of water aswell so possibly that’s what’s making me feel so heavy! I look about 7 month pregnant aswell it’s awful ha xxx

I had bloated stomach after my ba it can last up to 14 days. The op can cause this and is quite common.
I’m 5 weeks po and feeling great. Swelling has gone and the implants are now feeling part of me (like they have always been there) and 90% healed.

Ah thank GOD you’re feeling better! I was beginning to worry about all the pain & how long it will last! Can u brush your teeth yet?!
Try & get some food in you coz you need it to recover, especially since you’ve barely eaten! The swelling will go soon no doubt, you’ll be looking LUSH! Woooo x

@kimbers I know I’m so glad I’m feeling better, definitely think I’m over the worst stage! No my brothers brushed them for me this morning ? haha!
I managed to eat a crumpet this morning, took me about an hour like its so hard to swallow lol

Had my opp on Sunday and been really bloated. I put on 8lb. Weighed myself again today and lost half of that so it is just the bloatedness etc. Youll be fine. Getting my bandaging off tomorrow. Cant wait. Xx

About 5lbs roughly for implants… Plus a bit of swelling however co-codamol makes you terribly bloated.

I doubt you have put weight on just boobies and maybe water retention 🙂 xxx

@larasirap hiya jasmine, oh I didn’t realise it could be up to 5lbs! I’ve stopped taking co-codamol because it was making me sick but I think in just full of water lol xx
