Hey girls, for about 6 months now I’ve thought my boobs don’t look anywhere near as good as they used to & it’s just occurred to me that I’m almost 2 stone heavier than I was when I originally had my open in October 2017!
I feel like my boobs are so much small, no definition & no upper pole fullness anymore, it’s really getting me down, they don’t even look good in bra’s anymore 🙁
Has anyone had this situation & did loosing weight help? Please help I’m driving myself crazy Xx
@beth, sorry you are feeling like this. I think most women in the country are putting on weight with this lockdown tbh. I guess everyone puts on weight in different areas but perhaps your boobs do just look proportionally smaller as everything else is a bit bigger. My boobs are always the last place to gain weight. They will also probably have dropped a bit more too.
If you are looking to lose some weight then you’ll probably find your boobs looks a little more defined and proportionally bigger. Although, I sure you look amazing just as you are.
@pinkchick Thankyou so much for your reply, it’s so difficult isn’t it, I’m definitely going to try to loose some weight but then I’m worried about sagging! Such a vicious cycle, I wish I didn’t critique myself so much! Xx
@beth, are you thinking that losing weight will make ur boots sag more? There is probably an element of the novelty wearing off with the boots, you get so used to them being part of you. If you were to get ur old boobs back for a day I’m sure you would realise how great they are.
Yeh I need to lose weight too, ur right, its not easy. Says me sitting eating an empire biscuit 🙈
@pinkchick Yes! I’m on the RealSelf forum & surgeons have said that loosing more than 10 pounds can increase the chance of your boobs sagging & I’ve put 2 stone on since my op so I’m very worried! I’ve sent some pictures of a year ago & then now to my clinic so hopefully they can advise me further. I’m only 22 & my boobs made me extremely self conscious before & now I’m feeling self conscious again.. although they’re 1000x better than what I had before, I know that they were better only a year ago so it’s really frustrating 🙁 lol that’s me all the time!! Xx
@pinkchick I think it’s if you loose 10 pounds in general you akin becomes more elastic ages & can cause sagging 🙁
Hi! I got my implants in December and was hoping to loose weight before the surgery but ended up gaining a couple of lbs but once everyhing had settled I joined slimming world in February and since have lost a stone and would like to loose another half.
When I asked about WeightLoss they said about 1.5 stone is ok to loose STEADILY so no crazy fad diets but i think my implants have become slightly more defined when I’m stretched out but don’t seem to have sagged at all (yet) fingers crossed the dont. But with a weight gain after surgery I’m not sure if it’d be the same as your breast (fatty) tissue will have increased abit so you may think they might have sagged / lost fullness but it might just take you back to how they were right after surgery:) x
@hal98 this is SO reassuring, Thankyou! I’m hoping to loose a stone & half as this will take me closer to my surgery weight (I was 8 & half stone at the time of surgery, I’m now 10 & half stone) & hoping that will take me back to how they were year ago, I’ve also joined slimming world too! I almost feel that since I’ve gained wait, my implants are disappearing? So weird! Thankyou for replying Xx
