Hi Laura, I had Dr Andrea. Last Tuesday…. he’s amazing! I got the Macom and 2 Marks and Spencer’s sports bras, the nurse put the Macom on me, however some people on here have said the Macom is so uncomfortable but I really haven’t had any problem with mine and prefer it to the marks and Spencer’s sports bra but everyone is different. The only thing I find uncomfortable is the breast band I have to wear. Good luck with your op x
Thankyou theres sooooooo many to choose from its unbelievable…how are you feelin now x
Hi Laura. I had my op yesterday. I have been wearing my macom since. Don’t get me wrong. It is very tight but I took it off earlier to wear my m and s one and that just didn’t feel so supportive. I’ve just ordered another macom and plan to stick with them! Xx
Yes very sore but it is bareable!! Eating and drinking almost back to normal. Have had to have my parents do everything for me the past 24 hours. Can’t even hold a mug! But pain is getting a little more easier xx
Hi Ladies!
Hope you are recovering well @kellyx
I’m set for my op next week but still unsure of what macom bra to buy! I was just wondering Kelly if you bought the same back size macom as you were before the procedure or did you go up a size to account for swelling? xx
Everyone seems to say different things the macom mould to your cup so im guessin buy the back size you are now x
@katewhite I just brought my normal back size (28-30) it is fine as any implant size fits in the cup. It’s a bit tight but that is expected I guess. I’ve ordered another one today as it’s much better than the m&s one 🙂 xx
thanks for getting back to me ladies! @laura1984 @kellyx
I’ve ordered a Macom in my normal back size and I’ve bought an M&S one just incase!
Good luck with your op @laura1984 and hope you aren’t in pain @kellyx xx
I definitely recommend a Macom! I had two macoms which I wore for the first week, and then after that week I went and brought a m&s high impact one when I was feeling more able to try them on! I know a lot of girls on here tend to either really prefer the Macom or really prefer the high impact bra, but to be honest I think they both have their own benefits and I didn’t find either more comfortable than the other really. The Macom was just so handy for after surgery because you don’t need to worry about the size, and you can alter the tightness slightly with the hooks xx
