what do I need for after ba?!?

Hi ladies, right I got pjs, hoodie, joggers, taking my macom although don’t think will need it as Singh straps u up and tells not to wear bra till it comes off day 4.
When do u start taking Arnica and using bio oil?
Is there anything I’m forgetting?
OMG 3 SLEEPS TO GO!! (Tad excited, lol)

I’ve probay got the exact same stuff as you by reading that 🙂 mine is in 3 days aswell! Getting a bit nervous now but excited at the same time 🙂

Iv read about getting a v pillow to help sleep xx

V pillow for home and take some roll on deodrant as you cant use spray xx

Defo get a v pillow I got a memory foam one it was great. Are you day case or over night? I took my own pillows to hospital and few snacky bits. Also some lucozade for energy. You can use bio oil now but don’t use on scars for 6 weeks or so, wait til your nurse says you can. I took arnica 3 days before and 3 days after but some are advised not to take it so I would check with your pc. X

Thanks girls. I got a v pillow today and got Oreos comin out my ears as they’re half price in Tesco at mo, lol.
Got dry shampoo too and plenty baby wipes.
Got my admission time,,7:30am, first down with Singh so chuffed. Can’t believe only 3 sleeps and will finally be happening, been waiting 14 years!! Xxxx

Take a dressing gown to walk down to theatre in, slippers (as you can’t walk bare foot, unsure why) I took magazines in with me to keep me occupied although they do have a tv, but daytime tv isn’t the best. I started taking arnica 2 weeks before and for 2 weeks after as recommended by the pharmacist and also pc. I also took toothpaste and toothbrush as GA can leave a bit of a funny taste in your mouth. Hey meesh out of all I packed I drunk my water and used my phone charger lol I got dressings on so can’t clean felt off :- / and no need for the bra just yet! I was able to get in to my vest top and jeans so didn’t put pj’s on as it was pointless from when I got there had to put gown on and stay in it because of drains there wasn’t any need for dressing gown as its like 10 steps to the lift down 1 floor and your in theatre so that was a waste too so basically don’t pack much or worry you probably won’t use it Hun xxx

Ok thanks girls. Think I’m just guna take a book, charger, water. I’m wearing my tracksuit in anyway and dressing gown. Need to get arnica tomorrow. Oooo so excited. Xxx

Yeah I took loadsa stuff incase I needed to stop in or something and all I really needed was my phone and water. I also didn’t know I needed a dressing gown so ended up having to wear 2 hospital gowns … One like normal and the other like a dressing gown ha. Oh and your sports bra to put on straight after surgery. x
