What do i need for hospital and not to dos before op

My op is in 10 days im just wondering what i need , and what not do do before etc lk nails eyelashes tan etc and if i should take my pill xx

No tanning a week before hand, no false nails, false lashes, makeup, no moisturiser the day of the op, remove all piercings and jewellery. Stop the pill two weeks before. Tie long hair up before surgery. Give your hair a really good wash and treatment the day before your op. Wax anything you usually shave.
Take with you slippers and dressing gown, chargers for electrical items, phone, laptop, iPad etc… Magazines. Snacks for after the op. sports bra if your surgeon requires you to wear one. Easy on clothing and shoes. Juice if you don’t like plain water. Baby wipes. Xx

Thanks hun ill be plain jane the next 10 days then without all that lol itll be worth it tho! Im scared to stop my pill tho i caught with my daughter wen id only missed 2 days when i lost my pill on holiday xxx

Depends on what type of pill you’re on. I’m on cerazette which is desogestrel and quite different from combined pills such as Yasmin. Cerazette doesn’t have the risk of blood clots, so I was allowed to stay on it, but I would ask your nurse and see what she says 🙂 x

Snacks are a must! Pack your favs and a cosy blanket to make you feel at home 🙂

I stayed on my combined pill (its a low hormone one apparently :/ ) but doctor advised me to extra vitamins and to keep blood clot socks on for a bit longer, have been fine so far! xx

U can drink alcohol after u stopped taking your antibiotics. so if your course is 5-7 days, u should wait till u stop taking them. also do not drink much, it slows healing – i’ve been told by many ppl. 🙂
