While you’re in hospital waiting you’ll need something to entertain yourself! I took a dressing gown but didn’t need it as my room was boiling, I didn’t stop sweating all day! After, drinks!! I felt a bit crappy coming out of the hospital but I’ve been drinking lucozade and feel a lot better, sports bra! I have mine on now with my strapping, I’m not sure if it’s making things too tight or not right now but they felt really heavy when I stood up in the hospital so I wanted more support.
Urh a V pillow for after to help you sleep upright,
antibac right to help you keep clean as you can’t shower for a week,
    Dry shampoo,
anti inflammatory tablets for when you get home to help with swelling and I can’t think of much else right now. Try not to stress lovely, it’ll all be fine! As long as you have a sports bra just in case you feel like you need more support when the strapping is one you’ll be fine, everything else can be added later 🙂 xx

    hey hun
I have jsut placed my orders!
ive ordered hibiscrub (to wash with before and after surgery) arnica tablets (for swelling and bruising), vitamins, laxatives (apparently the meds make you poorly) and bio oil (for when the nurse says i can apply it) from boots.
Ive got a v pillow for sleeping upright and also a bolster pillow from dunelm mill as the girls say a bolster pillow under your legs helps you stay upright and eases back pain!
I’ve got 3 different sports bras in expected sizes with the tags still on so I can return the ones that dont fit from asda.
front opening pjs (ease of dressing), slippers, dressing gown and a front zipping hoody. for in the hospital and hotel and travel home.

then the usuals phone, charger, laptop (movies in the hotel), dvd’s, a book.
Ive also got some straws to help drinking if im stiff. and a sports bottle that can be kept by me onthe bed wihtout leaking so i dont have to reach over in the night!

I will have ready a hot water bottle for my lower back when recovering at home and ice packs for the swelling and bruising.

also baby wipes to freshen up when you cant bath and dry shampoo for my hair!
also invested in listerene mouth wash as i guess i wont be able to scrub my teeth as hard as usual for the first ciuple of days so want a very string mouth wash to clean the bits i miss!
