Im sorry if this question is repative for some but I am new to the breast augmentation world and this forum. I have read online that many time PS will overfill the saline bag. I am curious what this is done for? and also if the bag is overfilled does it increase the chance of rupture(since in my mind it means the implant is very tight)? Do we have that in UK?

With saline sometimes surgeons use overfill to reduce deflation, rippling, noises etc its also used to increase projection or give a rounder look etc.. im not sure if overfilling increases the chance of rupture or not.. but the implants have a minimum and maximum fill level to use at their discretion.. i dont think they would ever be filled over the max x

Is it a way to get a larger size, with a smaller implant? Can it burst?
Does our surgeons do that? xx

overfilling allows more volume at a reduced diameter hun.. and no they wont burst because they are designed to be overfilled.. if anything the less fill the more ripples the more chance of rupture from the ripples wearing over time x

I dont know if overfill is done in the uk.. i always wanted silicone so never looked in to it.. over the last few years ive looked at pics of both silicone.. and saline overfilled.. the saline really can look so amazing probably would have been better for the look i went for in all fairness x
