What happen at the Pre-Op?

Hi Girls,

I have my pre op on the 21st December but i havent really been told what happens and what the nurse goes through with you?

Any girls who have had one, could you please give me a rough idea as i am confused and want to know before i go 🙂

It’s exciting 🙂 u get an info pack like emergency numbers they go through what will happen at hospital ask you what size you are having or considering , take before pics for records :)… Weigh you measure height .. Go through bras .. Go through do and don’t s pre and afer op … Give you tips for post op which are helpful 🙂 answer any last minute worries
That’s about it but I looked physcho haha I was asking all the questions which flooded in at the realisation the op was in 3 weeks 😀

They occasionally take bloods and swabs for MRSA too… I had the swabs, just a cotton bud around your nose and armpit! Think they only take bloods if youve got a lengthy medical history but I didnt have that. Nothing scary.
Helpful to have someone with you to help take in the info that the nurse will give you.

Oh yeah forgot about that swab .. Haha blow your nose before you go in or it’s embarrassing haha needn’t say more lol I wa well scared if have mrsa coz it’s so common just from being out and about near people who have it … But usually it’s all clear 🙂 I’m just a complete worrier I thought they were gonna cancel haha
