What happen's at your one week post op appointment?

Well it’s basically as the title says. I have my 1 week post op appointment on Thursday and I have no idea what to expect if anyone could tell me.I have strapping over and under my breasts. I’ve heard they take it off and it hurts. That they trim your stitches? (I though they were dissolvable?) and also had anyone every trimmed their strapping before seeing the nurse? Mine has come loose under my arm pits due to sweating (yuck i know) and it really starting to itch and irritate me. Thankyou in advance!

I have my 1 week checkup tomorrow & was wondering the same thing.

I had my 1 week appointment last week, I also had strapping on, they took my strapping off (didn’t hurt at all) and then took my dressings off, checked my incisions, took the steri strips off and cleaned the incisions and put fresh dressings on. My nurse also took pictures of my boobs, and then helped me into my sports bra. I then had my 2 week appointment on Friday and she took my dressings off and that was it, you’ll only be there for about 15 minutes and it didn’t hurt me at all xxx

I have had 1 at 1 week post op, then 2 week post op and I still have 2 appointments left which is 6 weeks and 12 weeks xxx
