What happens during your pre-op?

I have my pre-op this coming Monday and I’m just curious as to what happens in it as I’ve realised I don’t really have a clue what they’ll do!

In mine they went through a lot of health questions, she took my blood pressure, confirmed which implant sizes I’d chosen and that I was still happy with them. She weighed me and took my height. Then I had my blood taken (but not everyone has this) and finally she took some before pictures :). It took around 45 mins in total x

Mine was slightly different, I had a questinare to fill out all to do with my health, weight and height taken, water sample given and msra swabs taken also.Took about 30 mins , and she went through what will happen on day i.e.. times and fasting and length of operation.Nothing to worry about at all.You also have another opportunity to ask any questions xx hope this helps x

Ah yes I forgot the mrsa swabs ! X

Had mine today at 1:30, all was well!! Had this irrational fear they were going to find something that meant I couldn’t have surgery haha but it was all okay! xx
