What pain is normal 1 day post op?

Hey girls,
I had surgery yesterday, 345cc under the muscle and I’ve been suffering since. Just wondering what sort of pain is normal and how long it lasted?
I feel so tight/stiff consatntly, getting the odd sharp pain in my boobs and my incisions have started burning & stinging so much this afternoon. I honestly feel like I’ve been hit by a bus haha.
Appreciate any answers xx

All of the above is normal. Day 1-3 were the worse, literally felt like I’d been hit by car. Tonight and tomorrow night will be terrible (they were for me but hopefully not so much for you) , but it does get better! Xx

I felt like i’d been hit by a train! All normal you’ve had surgery so all kinds of off pains are normal for the first few days, you’ll soon be back to normal xx

Hi, I’m having mine tomorrow morning. I’m so scared. Mainly of being put to sleep ???? Can anyone reassure me? Xx

@daniellearden I was very nervous & it’s so quick, they keep you calm & chatting as they get going and it was like 2 minutes from walking in the door to going under (if that)

I had my op yesterday too, my scars have swollen is this normal?

@Danielle -You really shouldn’t be looking at your incisions. I didn’t know what mine looked like until 1 week post op for dressing change. I assume it’s normal but please don’t take the dressing off, you don’t want anything getting in their.

Thanks @ramla I’ve not taken off the dressings or my bra I can just feel a swelling underneath. I think I’m just being over dramatic and it’s normal 1 day post op!! Hopefully there wlll be less pain tomorrow!

Thanks girls! I’m hoping in the next few days I’ll feel more human. The bloat isn’t helping anything and my compression band is digging into my belly which makes me feel sick but I can take that off tonight thank god!! Xxx

Good luck @cat I had surgery the same day as you and I’m still stuck on the sofa so it sounds like we’re both in the same situation with the pain!

@kay fully recovered, with exception odd dissolvable stitch not dissolving and poking out. It’s nice to a abled body human again. Have you decided on size/had surgery? I know you were stuck on what size to go for.

@ramla no I thought I was stuck on the 355 and then went to the 375 and now thinking 355! This is the hardest part. I’m having mine on the 17th sept. I’d love to see how yours are getting on. I love yours but worried they’ll be big on me x
