Ok,so I need to get some post-op bras, but I don’t know what size.My information I have been given says 1size bigger for the back and 2 cup sizes bigger, but what if they don’t fit straight after the op? My surgeon says I will be an e cup.At the moment I am an a cup. Should I buy D or DD or E? Or a selection of lots and hope some fit?xxx

@smallnicky Quite a lot of girls go for the macom bras as the cups are expandable. If you go for something else I’d go for at least an E cup if that’s what your surgeon has said you’ll be. I was a 32a, asked to be a C/D, and I’m wearing a 34C sports bra at the mo. It was a bit of a squeeze at first with the swelling but ok now. Quite a lot of people recommend the m&s zip bras (what I wear). They were on sale a couple of weeks ago for £9 but they’re not on the site anymore (£25 now). Best option if you go for something like that where you choose the cup size is to buy them as close to your surgery date as possible and return them after if they don’t fit. Ebay is another option to get them cheaper/used but you’d just have to hope you get the right size to begin with otherwise just sell it if it doesn’t fit x

I just got the Macom bras. If they fit before they will fit after. I just found it easier than buying a bra that might not fit and having to return it after xx

Or do you think 40 will be ok? 40D or 40DD or 40E?xx

The Macom or MYA bras come in small, medium or large which saves you having to guess your size. Might be your safest option if unsure, that’s what I’ve done x
