What to expect

Hey!
I’m having my initial consultation on Tuesday (26th) in Newcastle and I don’t really know what to expect. Is it just a chat with a PC telling them what I want? Will they discuss waiting times for surgery etc? Any info would be appreciated 🙂

Well when I had mine she asked me how soon I was hoping to book and how long I had wanted it for. If I had any medical history and what size I was now and what size I was hoping to achieve. She did ask me to go top less so she could also see and then told me what surgeon would be best for me. I asked about the finance too and she explained that and sent the link over to apply. Gave me a folder with some info in and price on and then said she deffo recommends the macoms lol that was about it x

@ellie2015 ah thanks so Much! Did you get booked in relatively quickly? Ah okay, yeah I’ve read loads on macoms so will defos be getting one when I get booked in lol. So excited to get more info off them xx

Hey, I’ve been to Newcastle! Yeah you just meet your PC, I didn’t have to show my boobs to her I just explained why I wanted the surgery, how long id thought about it for and then she gave me three options for the surgeons and gave me a bit background on them and then told me to go away and do my own research on the surgeons and choose and then book in with her. I wanted mine done ASAP so on Monday I met my surgeon and now I’m getting them done in 11 days 🙂 it just depends on availablity as well as how your going to pay etc xxx

They can get you in so quickly honestly lol if you got the payment sorted. I met my surgeon and had my pre op on the same day to speed things up as well. Have you got a date in mind?xx

@alicefff thank you! Ah I’m so excited, just hope all goes as well as what I’m expecting! What surgeon are you with? I’ve read amazing things on Mr Traynor so hoping he gets mentioned for me. When u meet your surgeon is that when a deposit is to be paid by?

@ellie2015 I’d love them to be done in the next couple month ideally, but I honestly don’t mind. It’s a lot of saving to do haha. @trisarahtops I’m not sure who my PC is? The only lady I’ve spoken with was called Beth (i think) an I meant to know before I go? X

Traynor! He absolutely lovely. Very calm and straight to the point which is something I think is essential!!! Yeah to confirm a date xxx

Hi Katie, luckily when I went for my first consultation there was a surgeon at the clinic so I got to meet with him too on the same day! Which was really good because I got all my info I needed in one day! He asked me what look I wanted to achieve and how big. He then examined my boobs and told me what he’d recommend, he went through all the risks etc. I then went and saw my PC again afterwards and she let me try on a bra with the implants I had chosen so I could see how they looked. Everything was done on one day as I was happy with my decision. I now have my pre op on wed!!xx

@sammiej-x thank you!! I’m so excited, they rang me today to check alls okay and it got me so nervous cos it’s real all of a sudden haha. Which surgeon are u going with? 🙂 ah so after you meet the surgeon that’s what you can try the implant? I bet you’re so excited. Do u have any idea when your surgery will be? Xxx
