What to expect at my pre op!

I have my pre op on Thursday and was wondering what will happen!? I am at the Liverpool rodney street clinic 🙂

Hi Hun, I had mine last week at the Leeds clinic. I saw the nurse, she talked over my medical history, the dos and donts for pre and post op. checked my blood pressure, height and weight. Took swabs to test for mrsa. Did some pre op pics, gave me an information pack with the emergency telephone number in it, and all the dos and donts etc. she also booked me in for my one week post op check xx

It went great thank you, op is 4th jan, 3weeks on Friday eeek xx

They also take blood xxx

they didnt take blood test from me.didnt measure my height and weight.just took some swabs.and tok some pictures.thats it.

I didn’t have bloods either x

i had weight n weight, blood pressure, mrsa swabs and got all info, no blood tests though i think it all depends on medical history and stuff as to whther they think you need one xx

Hi girls!! Thanks for your replies! Had my pre op last night and she gave me two cotton bud swabs. One for up my nose and one for under my armpits!

She done my blood pressure which was a bit high so sé took a few tries and it was normal (ish) at the end

She also asked a lot of questions (which is good)…the usual medical history and told me I would need to take my tonge piercing out for the op etc!

Finally she took some before pictures and lets just say it was pretty cold hahah!!
