What to put on the scars 10 days post op

What do I put on my scars there not looking good should I be covering them ???

I’ve just got back from my 1 week po appointment and the nurse said I can start putting bio oil on them to help with the healing xx

hm i wonder why the nurse wanted mine covered for 2 weeks then xx

I’d contact your nurse before you put anything on them. They’ll look terrible for the first few week regardless. When the swelling’s gone down and they’ve healed more they’ll start looking much better. My nurse and many others have said not to put any product on them until you get the all clear from the nurse at your 6 week appointment. xx

Ya Samantha I called my nurse and she said I need to leave it for 6 weeks don’t cover it or put anything but think my bra is rubbing so it’s really sore so I not sure my right side hurts a lot

Yeah I would put anything on them for a while. Last thing you need is infection or more irritation…

Hiya, mine were quite lumpy at your stage and they have healed well. I wouldn’t put anything on them at your stage. They are still quite fresh incisions and will heal over the next few weeks. X
