What to take to the hospital?

Can’t believe my op is finally here tomorrow!
My admission time is 7:30am at highgate so early start for me traveling down to london!

Can anyone tell me the things I will need to take with me to the hospital?
I’m only a day case, I’ve got my vpilllow and sports bra but is there anything else?

I was at highgate last week and took loads of stuff to keep me occupied. My admission time was 10am and by 12.30 I was in and out of surgery!!! When I came round it was like a was drunk so just slept. I would take some sweets or something to nibble on after your op and maybe a book if there is a delay. But the nurse is in and out and had my friend to talk to so time passed very quickly!!! And clothes you take to wear for the way home make sure they are loose and easy to put on. Doesn’t sound too helpful but I took so much stuff and didn’t use any of it!!! Good luck for tomorrow xx

How did you find the pain on the day of your surgery?x

Even though I was out of surgery at 12.30 I wasn’t allowed to leave the hospital til 18.30!! No pain on the day of surgery and all week hasn’t been to pad for me. I found last night the worse as I had my strapping off yesterday xx

That’s still not too long to be hanging Around for though, I hope mine goes as smoothly!
Yeah I keep hearing of the strapping being the worst part!
