What to wash in?

Hi girls I have my op next Monday and Iv read other girls on here before say they were told to shower before op using Sanex zero shower gel, I wasn’t told this and I normally use Dove because it smells nice! Do u have to use sanex or is dove ok?

I wasn’t told I couldn’t use anything, just have a shower they said so I used my normal shower gel 🙂 x

I was never told anything about that, i just had a good bath the night before using my usual bath items from shampoo to showergel and scrubs because i knew I wouldn’t be able to shower for a good 10 days at least following my procedure.

Ok then that’s perfect thank you! I’m going to hate going without a bath!! I normally have a nice long bath every night whilst my husband puts the kids to bed! x

I had a normal shower the night before then in the morning a shower with just water x

I do the same thats why i had a long bath the night before and i kept scrubbing ever millimeter in my body and washed my hair like 3 times and made a hair and body mask as well. Make sure you wash your hair not only shower because you dont want greasy dirty hair too soon after surgery when you wont be able to wash it for a good few days after your procedure. Man i am glad this period is over because not being able to go under the water by itself was so irritating aside from the pain

I hadn’t even thought about hair washing! Going to be investing in a lot of dry shampoo!

I just washed in Dove as usual. I got my partner to was my hair over the bath at 3dpo because I couldn’t cope with not washing properly (I’m a two showers a day kind of girl lol) xx
