    Hi girlies,

from what I have heard different surgeons prefer you to wear different types of bras / tops. I am not seeing my surgeon, Mr Singh, until my surgery day, so wont be able to ask him what to buy. I rather learn from your experience anyway 🙂
    Thanks! x x x

Hi Hun, I had my op with mr singh last Wednesday. I was advised to wear loose clothing and preferably a top that had buttons going all the way up on the front as it’s easiest to change into after surgery… I changed into my pyjamas after my op and went home wearing them. 🙂 xxx

Just to add mr singh advised me not to wear a sports bra or any bra until I get my strapping removed.

@Jessica congrats on your boobies and thanks for your advice! 🙂
someone on the forum mentioned Primark crop tops after removal of strapping? The thing is I dont think I would want to go for shopping a week after my surgery. xx

I know Hun I’m still in a lot of pain but was told it should get a lot less 72 hrs after surgery, especially as I’m taking my medicines on time and everyday the pain is reducing very slowly. I can feel it even though I only had it done on Wednesday… I’m hoping to go out Sunday or Monday and buy my first proper sports bra. XxX 🙂

@Jessica May I ask which size / placement / profile did you end up with? Also, Did you take arnica tablets? I have heard that they help the healing process. xx

Hi! I had 535cc mentor SILTEX ultra high profile overs. Not taken arnica before I’ve heard of them… Might ask nurse about getting some I feel like I’ve bruised really badly underneath my strapping. Meant to be seeing her Wednesday 20th for my 1 week post op appointment. Xxx

@Jessica Are you feeling any better? Holland & Barret sells arnica cream too, its meant to reduce redness and bruising. I have heard a few girls mention primark crop tops – apparantly they are supportive but not too restrictive. x x

Yeh the tops sound good I might buy myself a couple. Unfortunately today I had to call the emergency out of hours service as both my boobs seen to have gone rock hard almost overnight. The nurse said in most cases it’s usually just the strapping (I still have to keep mine on until next Wednesday) 🙁 it’s going to be removed on the day. I’m really scared about what kind of state my skin will look when everything gets removed. I’m still quite immobile. Can’t do much. When I wake up in morning and sit up my boobs feel SOO heavy. When I stand up I (after waking up) the pain is really bad and takes about 10/15 mins to wear off properly. But according to nurse I spoke to this morning it’s normal to feel pain up to 1 week after surgery. XxX don’t want to worry anybody but I just wanted to share my own personal experience with u girlies. XxX
