Whats a good lie? For random people etc.

Im telling my close family and friends about my BA op.. but then there are others.. step kids and their mother. And people like neighbours that i will see after (very close community) what is a gold excuse for not using arms and needing help with my daughter etc. (My daughter is at school the day of op and my partner is collecting me so worried about who is available for her). So far all i can think of is saying ive pulled a muscle… but that doesnt help with pre planning someone being there for my daughter. HELP! X x x

I’ve been saying I’ve hurt my back. Explains why I can’t lift things and why I’m sleeping upright (guests who see my pillow set up)
