What's Preston Like?

Hi, couple of questions ladies x
What is the hospital like in Preston? Is there wifi? How late can my hubby stay with me?

Hi hun preston first trust is amazing! they give a great service , they really look after you. Not sure how long he can stay with u as i stayed over night.

No hun, I was there Tuesday and the wifi was down it said something like it hadn’t been set up for patients. The signal was quite bad too for me on my phone. The staff are amazing though and the hosp is gorgeous. I didn’t have an overnight stay but my mum stayed all day with me, supposedly not allowed food in there but my mum had some in her bag as she would have been starving otherwise as was there 11:30 till 6:30. I will upload some pictures I took of the hosp so you can get a feel for it if you want to have a look xx

Oh yeah that would be lovely thank you! Best save up all my internet usage on my phone then and hope for a good signal. I’m staying overnight so I might take my laptop and some films then. Was gonna take my ipad but no point if no wifi. Xx

Yea i took my laptop but didn’t end up taking it in with me but i wasn’t overnight, I will add some pics now. I think taking films is your best bet cause the tele only has basic channels and if you can’t sleep first night you will be bored! xx

Haha yes Lisa, my friend who came with me KEPT making me laugh and it was uncomfortable which made me laugh even more.. so maybe take comedies to keep you happy but you’ll have to learn how to chuckle inside for a day or two 🙂 I was there and there were sheep outside my window and a peacock etc! It’s beautiful and the staff were the kindest people I’ve ever come across in a medical setting! Same for me with the wifi about a month ago, but had fine phone signal. We were there 10.30am-8pm and my friend was allowed to hang around or come and go as she pleased the whole time. Enjoy it, it’s so lovely there xx
