When can I go back on the pill?

Iv been off my pill now for about 4 weeks, my op is the 30th Jan. How quickly can I go back on?
Iv just had my first period in about 4 years off the pill and I am in AGONY! I forgot how much the pill really helps my periods!!!!
Any ideas I would be VERY grateful for advice!!!! xxx

i was told 2 weeks by the nurse at my pre op 2 weeks before 2 after Xx

I spoke to my nurse on pre op she said 1 week post op. Xx

I also have the pill everyday without fail i avoid periods as asoon as i take my first pill of the month i throw it back up. Still not sure why but i stoped it 3 weeks ago an had my period after so many months hated it lol. Xx

I’m on Yasmin and was told to come off 4 weeks before surgery and start again 2 weeks after surgery xx
