When can I go in a hot tub

I’m 3WPO today, does anyone know when I’m allowed to go into a hot tub? It’s not a public one, just at a friends house but wondering if I can go in or will I have to sit out :/ xx

Its 6 weeks for anything like that same as soaking in a bath or swimming xx

Haha yeah it should be 6 weeks before you have a soak. Obviously they are allowed to get wet but shower water obviously just runs straight off you, where as laying in a bath your soaking in mucky water so it can cause infection xx

Did you have dissovoble stitches? I’d ring your nurse to check. I know mine is 6 weeks tho xx
