    Hi girls,

I really would love to go to spa soon, sit in Jacuzzi (no swimming), soak in hot water and I have no idea if it’s not too early. When did you have a proper long bath, have gone swimming or sat in a Jacuzzi\pool after your op?

Also, when did you start sleeping on your side after the operation. Sleeping on my back is so annoying…

I’m 9 weeks after my op and had unders.

I will be sooo grateful for every bit of advice here

    Thank you

hey hun I’m only 10 days post op, i didnt use mya so I’m uncertain of their advice, but the clinic i went with gave me a print out of post op instructions that answers some questions … it states “no bath tubs or sauna for 6 weeks post surgery, no swimming pools, lakes, the sea or jacuzzis for 12 weeks post surgery”
it doesn’t say when you can sleep on your side but i asked my post op carer and they said normally around 12 weeks ?‍♀️
    hope this helps ?

Hi Sin! That’s so helpful! Thank you for responding! I am not a MYA patient either, but I really would love to hear opinions of different ladies, how they dealt with or all.. have a good night!

I’m 9 weeks post op and I’ve been swimming, sleeping on my side and taking baths from 6 weeks.. I suppose it depends on your incisions, whether they’re completely healed.m, as well as how well your implants have settled. Have you got a number to call your nurse? I’m sure they will let you know what your surgeon suggests xx

I had my op on 1 April. At my 4 week check up with my surgeon I was told I could have baths, don’t need to use steri strips on scars, can get them wet etc I want on holiday at 6 weeks and was told there wasn’t anything I couldn’t do! I didn’t go with MYA either but I do find interesting to read about the different advice people get. For example, I never had to sleep sat up, the advice I got was back or side from the very beginning!

Wow, that’s totally different Assymetric! Maybe it was due to the way your surgery was done? Did you have overs or unders?
My injections looked healed, and feel very nice but I got a bit scared reading some articles that the chlorine and some bacteria can go through the thin skin and cause infections… And I don’t know how much truth is in this so opinions…
But it looks every surgeon tells different thing :/
