I’m 5 weeks post op and have been sleeping on my side from week 4 , not “supposed to” for 6 weeks but I couldn’t sleep like that anymore x

I’m 5 days PO and sleeping on my side already sometimes. I don’t consciously lay that way to fall asleep but I wake up and I’m there! I normally sleep pretty much in the recovery position on my front so know the alien feeling of back sleeping, it’s horrible!

I think in the info pack I got post-op it said you can sleep on your side from 4 to 6 weeks depending on your progress.
I’m finding it horrible sleeping on my back too. Gonna try and make it to my 5 weeks post-op check & see if they think it will be OK then.
Could you ask at your next appointment?
