When can I look?? Advise please

Hey girls I’m 3DPO I really want to look under my pads at my scar. But is this too early?
Do I have to wait to see nurse before taking them off?
Do I need to replace them with new pads?
Please advise xxx

Hi you have to wait until you see your nurse. Your not supposed to remove your dressings yourself. I think if you had any problems further on they can say that you didn’t follow aftercare by removing them. Probably better waiting anyway because the nurse wipes them clean before showing you lol xx

I’d say wait because if you take that dressing off and you get an infection or something blows onto it that you can’t see and causes issues you’ll be kicking yourself! The scar will be tiny, I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I saw them the first time and I was pretty amazed x

Hi Sophia, how big was your scar? I’m expecting 3-4 inches xx

My scars are maybe 1”-1.5” at most. No where near 3-4” xx
