When can i sleep lying down?

So I’m 7 weeks post op on Wednesday coming. My nurse never told me if I could sleep lying down yet but she said I had to wear my sports bra every night for a year for support and I can have proooee showers/baths now ect…but I’m really starting to miss lying down to sleep. Anyone know when I can?

my surgeon told me 2 weeks i can lie flat. going to ask with nurse on wedensday at my 2 week checkup but im sure u will be able to now

I was told at 8 days post op that there was no rule just to sleep how my body was comfortable because it would tell you if it wasn’t haha xxx

I was told same as Emma. Do what I feel comfortable with I slept flat in my back for 1 week and since then I’ve been laying on my side comfortably xxx

Hey girls! My nurse told me to sleep propped up for the full 6 weeks but I don’t think my back can take anymore!! How did you get on sleeping flat? As long as we don’t sleep on our side and squash them I think that’s ok to sleep flat isn’t it? Xx

I went for my pre op with the nurse yesterday who said 2 weeks sat up and 4 weeks after that flat on my back x

Hi Ladies I went for my 1 week lost op yesterday and asked my nurse the same question. I was told I have so sleep upright for 6 WEEKS!!!
I’m sure before the surgery I was told 2 weeks but the nurse said definitely not.
when I asked why she said because I have overs there’s s higher chance that the implants can dislodge and end up under my armpits!!!
I asked if it made a difference sleeping on my side with extra pillows…. unfortunately not ????
This sucks because I’m not getting more than 4 hours sleep a night sleeping sitting up but am definitely not gonns chance lying flat before I get the all clear!

I was told 6 weeks too, think that’s a bit over the top. Two weeks understandable but 6 weeks come on!!!! Worst six weeks of my life haha. Worth it though but it really is a pain in the arse! Xxxxxx
