When can I take my steri strips off?

I’m 10 days po, healing really well no blood etc. the nurse said I should take them off & let the air get to them, but she also gave me a few & said I could get more from boots – but I’m confused, when can I take them off & leave them off? X

if had nothing on mine since day nine, the nurse put a new set at my week post op, and said peel them off in the shower, and only put new ones on if I felt I needed them

me too the nurse didnt give me any and said after my shower on monday not to put anything on them x
