When can I use Tan?

Just a quick one really, when can I use tan again?
One week in and I’m whiter than a milkybar! Just tanned my face, neck and arms but I’m desperate for a full body colour!

Hey girl. I’ve not had my op yet but I’m hearing your struggle haha it’s something I’m concerned about too. I’m so pale I don’t think I could cope.. was told by PC wait 6weeks but I don’t think I’ll be able to.
I watched Shani Grimmond’s vlogs and she said she tanned after a couple of days / a week – just not her boobs or incision area as obvs you need to scrub a bit to remove the tan after. So i’ll probably tan with the bra on to ensure my boobs and incisions are completely covered by the bra so won’t get tan on them (maybe not an expensive one like macom, but like a cheaper one while u apply the tan and it dries n then put your main one back one) if I were you i’d probably use an express one like the Bondi Sands Express tan and sleep in it for a darker colour, as it dries super quick so i’d use that and then get back into my main bra once it’s dry. Xx

@clairem-x @amywalk4 aw gals I feel your pain I hate being pale. I had a massive fail though, I tanned my arms and kneck/chest area after about 10 days post op and a few days later I started shedding skin like a snake. The anaesthetic made my skin so dry and the tan just made it worse so I ended up with flakey/patchy skin. I exfoliated after that and now I’m even whiter ???????? I cant wait to get some colour back in my life xx

I tanned a few days before my op (bad idea) now I just look patchy and dirty where I haven’t been able to shower and exfoliate! Think I’m just going to have to wear long sleeve tops for a while until I can shower!

I usually tan once or twice a week so being pale on top on being bloated and with greasy hair is awful. Onwards and upwards – just think of the boobs.

@chloedoeydee oh wow that sounds like you had trouble haha. Mmm idk what I’m going to do. Probably as soon ad I’m allowed to shower I’ll just do it and hope haha x

@paigechloee oh no! Can you buy some tan eraser? Like the Bondi Sands one and use that with a flannel to remove the most of it and then tan again once you can shower?
I know I’m not looking forward to the bloat, I bloat bad anyways so I’ll literally look pregnant haha. At least you have your boobs now babe x

@claire good idea! Got my first post op appointment tomorrow so maybe I’ll pop into Boots on the way and get some. Honestly my belly is bigger than my boobs. I’m the same as you after a bowl of pasta I look 6 months pregnant! At least it’s normal I suppose x

@paigechloee hahaha. You have to click on thier name and then copy and paste their @ name lol it’s long.
I use the tan eraser alot i’d say leave it on like 10mins as you get a better result – I usually watch a YouTube tutorial while i wait for it to soak into my skin lol x
